Kyle Brandt calls LA home now, but he's originally from Lincolnshire, IL. College days found him not only as an English major, but he quickly became the infamous #34, a Running Back for the Princeton Tigers. He was the first player ever to carry a football in Princeton Stadium when he returned the opening kickoff of the first game against Cornell in 1998. His football prowess began at Stevenson High School where he holds the school record for career rushing yards. He was captain of the football team as well as track. He was named an Illinois State Scholar.
Kyle is one of seven children. His older sister Ashley (26) is an Indiana graduate. He has two younger sisters Casey (20)and Natalie (3 months) and three younger brothers Austin (12), Tyler (11) and Christopher (3). His father is an advertising executive and his mother is in the film industry. Kyle has been active in the past in theater and films. He enjoys movies, all types of music, working out and currently plays on a basketball league twice a week.
He joins the cast of Days of our Lives; his official airdate was May 14, 2003. He is one of many actors to breathe life into the character of Philip Kiriakis. The character is the son of villian Victor Kiriakis and the beautiful vixen Kate Roberts. Philip left to join the Marines and has returned with a new attitude and a mission. What does the future hold for the character? We shall see as Kyle Brandt flexes his muscles in the role and takes Philip to a new level.
